I have supported processing archival collections, specializing in motion picture film, in a wide range of organizations - from personal collections and historical societies to Oddball Films and the critically-acclaimed Pixar Animation Studios.
I was awarded the Ted Greenberg Award for Excellence in Collections Management for my Master’s Project entitled Saving Celluloid: Strategic Planning for Unmanaged Film Collections in Small Libraries, Archives and Museums. I have also recently published an accompanying article, Saving Celluloid: Tools for Prioritizing Film Preservation Projects in the Society of American Archivists Archival Outlook magazine.
I enjoy bringing order to chaos, celebrating home movie day, frequenting museum exhibitions, reading graphic memoirs, watching Doctor Who and petting all of the dogs!
